Never be caught off guard or surprised when someone utters the famous phrase – “I already have someone who takes care of that for me.” Over the years I’ve coached and/or conducted training in a number of industries where the above response is used whenever someone is suspect of an inquiry being made. The best defense to this statement is a good offense. Always expect the response and learn to welcome it into the conversation. Here are three ways to turn the conversation into a meeting:
